-
How can I schedule to come over for a tour?
-
Simply call me at (920) 216-4769 and we can schedule a date and time that works for you and me. I typically like to schedule tours in the evening and on the weekends because I can give you my complete attention. However, if it doesn’t fit into your schedule to come over in the evening or on the weekend, I can schedule it during the day, but please know that I will have children in care and you will share my attention with them.

Please look at the daily schedule that is posted on this website under “Our Program.” This is what our day looks like.

-
Can I come to observe?
-
You sure can come over to observe at any time during daycare hours. If you are not already enrolled, I would ask you to contact me to set up a time to observe. Once families are enrolled, they can observe at any time. However, please know again, that I will have children in care and you will share my attention with them.

Do you take days off and do I have to pay for them?
-
I take 2 weeks of vacation, 10 holidays, and 7 personal days off per year. Parents pay for those days that I take off. I let parents know by November of the days I will be taking off for the next calendar year so they can make other child care arrangements.
-
After a family, has been enrolled for one year, I give the family one week of vacation. After a family, has been enrolled for two years, I give the family two weeks of vacation. This means they do not bring their child and they do not pay. They may use their vacation the same time I do.

What happens if you are sick?
-
In addition to the above days that I take off, I have 5 emergency days built in each calendar year. These can be used but not limited to an unexpected illness, a family emergency, or any other causes and cannot schedule a substitute. Parents also pay for these days. If for some reason, I need more than 5 days in a calendar year, parents do not pay and a refund will be given.

What happens if my child is sick?
-
If a child should become ill while at the center, parents will be contacted immediately. Sick children will be isolated within my sight or hearing and made as comfortable as possible. Children should be picked up within 1 hour. If the child is not picked up within 1 hour, the emergency contact person on the child's enrollment form will be called.

Do you accept child care assistance?
-
Yes, I do.
-
-
Do you have any pets?
-
Yes, I have two cats and two dogs on the premises. Pets will be allowed in areas accessible to children during the hours of operation. The children will be closely supervised when the animals are accessible to ensure that both the children and the animals are protected from harm, and Tender Hearts has liability insurance that includes coverage for cats and dogs. All pets for which there is an effective vaccine against rabies have been vaccinated. Prior to adding new pets to the center, I will notify parents in writing.
-
If your child has pet allergies, please inform me verbally and also be sure to write them down on the Health History and Emergency Care Plan under the non-food allergies section.
