What parents can expect from Tender Hearts:

  • Open communication

  • Open access to the child care home during daycare hours

  • Safety for your child

  • Honesty and confidence

  • Acceptance of parents’ wishes

  • Advance notice of any changes

  • Assurance that everyone that works with your child has had state and federal background checks complete with FBI fingerprinting.  

  • Assurance that everyone in contact with the child is trustworthy and properly trained in Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS, Child Abuse and Neglect as well as holds a current certification in First Aid as well as Infant, Child and Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) including training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

  • Assurance that everyone in contact with the child will follow standard emergency medical procedures for treating injuries.  A head injury will be treated as a serious injury, and parents will be notified as soon as possible.
